Orange's 3+ is purely marketing speak (its actually a CDMA technology Read EVDO) All operators in Kenya run on GSM technology. Only Orange have CDMA as well as GSM. The two technologies are quite different and handsets, RIUMs cannot be transferred from one to the other.
I have not seen CDMA starmphones in Kenya (Only on gsmarena). That's why I am keen.
