@Aki Your approach matters a lot. They say,a man who is unwise tells a lady to shut up but a wise man tells her she is most beautiful with her mouth closed!Do you understand this metaphor or shall I take it step by step? :) Nobody on this list owes another person ANY explanation. In any case, when you ask people for a solution here, you should consider it a favour that someone takes the time to answer it!If you do not get an answer, either people are busy with their lives or they do not know the answer!Do you want us to be answering you with messages such as; 'Sorry I'm busy at work,I can't answer your question' or 'I don't know the answer' or even 'What kind of a question is that' for you to understand this concept? And should you not find a suitable answer, you just move on like the rest of us do! :) As for your grudge with people from a certain generation, what exactly do you propose as the solutions to the stated' 'problems'?When you say we were born in a generation where we only use the internet to find code and FOSS software for our custom solutions,do you want us to ignore Google so that we can gain your respect? To what end would we be doing that? @Martin, Amen to that! I hope the day we have an extremely vibrant developer community of KICT tech gurus who are in a position to not just help but also make the necessary pointers without the going into search engines. Some people need to take a cue from some of us on responses. Whenever I feel that there is the need for someone to know indepth and I can respond, I go out of my way to ensure they understand the concept. The most recent one was @Wash's Wifi thread, I even pointed him to the reason why not to use too much RF power, further I provided a spectrum analysis video to show the concept of possible harmonics of frequencies and reflections. Whether it helped him or not, I hope it provided him with a valuable insight to make the right decision about his Wifi Deployment. Not sure how many on this list are on the mechanics list, but whenever anyone posts a question and I know the sector like the back of my hand because it was a former passion, I always take my time to respond to queries. There was one on traction control and I took the thread step by step until it became clear on how and why.
For me on principle, and I did not know it would come to this, am totally done posting any threads that have to do with software development or programming in KE. Period! Now I'll happily buy shares in Google and get on with what I enjoy doing i.e write basic code when time is available. When the KPLC project is completed, will post it here for testing and further inputs in due course.
Over and out.
Rgds. :-)
