@Lawrence its hard getting a freeware that converts pdf to word. try using online services .

@Brian www.pdftoword.com i use that frequently but at times you have to wait because of the long queue.

http://www.convertpdftoword.net/ - with this site it requires not email address, you just upload the doc, it's converted and then you download. i recommend.

However are there any risks in converting such documents online? especially sensitive documents. i am sure there is thus the need for commercial software.
