I am not sure if many Kenyans really have faith in KPLC to deliver any service especially internet service. Their motivation to deliver internet to your house may probably have nothing to do with delivering blazingly fast internet to you and may actually have to do with what have to be gained by the top dogs at KPLC from the fiber-to-your-house contract. And this being an election year, I have my doubts about the transparency of some of these things KPLC is doing. Not being to reliably deliver an essential service like power really undermines KPLC's ability to deliver anything else. And as I have said before, this have nothing to do with poor infrastructural but poor management. I remember just a few years ago when KPLC was under contract management from managers seconded from Manitoba and I believe there were no frequent blackout then. As soon as Kenyans took over, all hell broke loose. KPLC is just incompetent. As much as I hate to say it. Lazy, and incompetent.
