There was this startup radio station and i spent the evening with the presenters; they said that they have aggressive marketing campaigns - [especially in the rural areas] to get product, services and institutions to get an advertising slot with them...
They said it was hard to convince [especially the big companies] to run an ad on your station. So i think K24 and the rest have marketers out there hustling - they also have guys looking for sponsors to fund some of the programming.
Mabbe we will see the results in 2 or so years.
