For the EX430 it depends on the mode you're in. For example, I think you can't view another channel when the TV is in TV? :) But you can have the PIP when you're, say, watching a DVD and you want to see what's on TV. Not true. The feature is there on a Sony LCD TV I purchased in 2008, that's not an 'internet TV'.
