don't forget that every tab on chrome is a separate process, when it comes to 'eating up memory and cpu time' Chrome rocks.

The new Firefox looks pretty much like Chrome so you can't really say that one is uglier. Personally would prefer Firefox to keep its identity but if thats the look that moves the masses then....

Personally I find Firefox faster at downloading stuff than Chrome and in addition you can pause a download on firefox but not in chrome. In chrome when you have to close the browser then you have to cancel the download!!!!!!!

Please update your Firefox, or re-install it

There is more to familiarity than you are mentioning e.g keyboard shortcuts, add-ons etc stuff that take time to perfect, you just don't move away from that. By the way the reason why I.e still exists is coz it comes pre-installed in your windows, most non-geeks won't go looking for something they already have
