I don't have documented evidence but a pal of mine with police connections told me so when i was ranting and raving about how i need to get some since am tired of being confronted by strange men.
apparently ur not supposed to carry any object that is intended for and can cause grievous bodily harm
pepper spray apparently requires a permit just like a firearm
