If you had credible facts to counter that Makmende was not kenyas biggest trending topic i would believe you coz as far as I know Makmende is not only the biggest thing on the Kenyan webspace but will soon hit the airwaves!<div>

Highly doubt it. Speaking from a professional point of view really.<br>
i&#39;ve been tracking twitter trends for a while practically. The authors<br>
have probably been trying to over hype the entire thing and it is very<br>
difficult to determine whether such statements above are true.<br>
<br>
Currently twitter usage in Kenya is still low (people who actually<br>
tweet sensibly --- not spam). I had elaborated earlier on a  few<br>
issues in an earlier post...so theres no need to repeat.<br>
<br>
What i&#39;m simply saying is that the people here are professionals and<br>
such statements really sound rediculous and more of an attempt to<br>
create hype everywhere. (probably made posts in most of the local<br>
sites blah blah blah)<br>
