I think we need to address the root cause of evil (crime) in Kenya and see what other ways other than encouraging gun ownership that we can reduce crime. You know Kenya, and the system of issuing fire arms is very easily open to abuse, and that's the point I was making exactly. Haven't you heard about the same people who have been issued guns by the Government renting them out to criminals? The one about the election was just a joke.

The intention of having a firearm is for protection anself defense. Their are very many people in kenya with guns, but that is because they either afford the license or they have been issued to them by the govt. So saying that 'everyone to own a gun and use it next election' is not really possible...
