Whenever a company starts generating more press releases than product it's time to get worried. Seems to be the case at Wananchi (Sorry Riyaz, Ken et al) Apparently there's a top management shake-up which has seen several managers leave and Richard Bell is back (no comment).
Most worrying is Kui's article is a paragraph.
"But the fibre project has now stalled, and Mr Bell said the firm has opened talks with a number of financiers to jump-start the project since a delay will allow its rivals to build market share at a time when the market has seen new entrants."
I was sure these guys were swimming in money, Haiya
Hi David, Swimming in money can lead to some money getting splashed out of the swimming pool too. Some can also be swallowed or just say "mismanaged". I think such is not the preserve of Wananchi only. It can affect any organization. Let's pray for Wananchi's continued presence in the market, otherwise other providers will simply make roast meat of us, given that the data market is where they are all headed! -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Damn!!
