May be its me, but I don't see it as such a bad site. I got to admit I
am a bit utilitarian as in all I value is the information and if the
links are intuitive enough to point me to what I need without trying
every link possible.

Ah, and looks like it sits as designed on firefox/chrome.   On the
other side, another site that could not be accessible in any of the
modern browser was a bit too broken to be acceptable
