Is there much difference between a Nexus and a Samsung to most users, other than a weird user interface on one?

The Z2 and Galaxy S5 are pretty similar. Would go for the Z2, but you'd rather wait until a month after both devices are available to read up on the experience. Sometimes manufacturers screw up on the software and there are issues.
