I feel you. Every fibre company digging trenches, every mobile network putting up base stations, every bank putting up ATMs (and branches) blah blah.

As for them sharing fibre, doesn't look like will happen soon - they keep engaging in anti-competitive practices like overcharging each other, taking years to service a request, aggressively targeting clients served by a competitor on shared fibre etc

Is it ever possible for a single company to dig and lay the fibre with a crazy huge bandwidth where everybody else "hires" from this single entity?

Everytime these goons dig up trenches for fibre I have to repair the fence one way or the other..... any ideas?
