there is a channel on nilesat that does 1080p on its FTA. sometimes i just connect to just enjoy the quality, notwithstanding that its just camel races... What i would give to get Clines for Nilesat English programming!<br>

It still does not happen in 90%+ even in the west. To broadcast in 1080p requires a lot of bandwidth and unless you are doing a pay-per-view then that can be considered. The rest is a mess. So basically all those TVs that boast 1080p resolutions are pretty much duds for broadcast TV purposes but for the likes of Blue-ray content then that capacity can be exploited.<br>
