I think the general rule of making good money with such a kind of 'investment' is just one:

>ready supplier, ready buyer

This is the general rule with doing importations too; eg If I was to import LCDs, it will be very profitable for me to bring the LCDs and sell all of them to suppliers in one go - not to start retailing to individuals - which take time (and thus adds costs eg storage rent, employees etc).. which would be detrimental if one has taken a loan.
Selling them at one go- even if I make a smaller margin than retailers, my capital and net will be earned in one swift motion - leaving me with more to import the next consignment of goods.

So I guess Areba must know a supply chain where he shall channel all the produce after 4 months - which in this case the biggest key is the knowledge of supply chain (e.g cut out the middleman and export straight to that London Flower Auction).
