I had a 'problem' where my units were moving superfast. In the first month of the prepaid meters I paid more than double what the monthly bill used to be. 

Then I noticed that there are times the indoor unit would show the sign for 'no load' when a number of appliances were on.

I tried the main switch at the meter box and that seemed to put off our neighbour's power and vice versa. I informed my neighbour about the 'problem' and he said I may get the flat electrician to fix it. 

The electrician gave a long story where the wiring 'problem' was in a way that I was paying power for both our house and neighbour. My power consumption is now back to normal, but my attitude to my neighbour isn't.

The prepay  system is  based  on  an Intelligent Network (IN) and  for any units consumed  logs (Usage Detail Recordss) are generated.
 If  these  logs are well kept then these guys can always bill you later.
