@Aki, Ever wondered how TATA has PoP all over the world from Laurentides Canada to Paris to SA to London telehouse? This agreement is very strategic to both TATA and AK.....It must have sent shivers down UUNET spines!... Corporates in and around East and Central Africa now only have to look to TATA/AK PoP and for a strong presence in the electronic world! I forsee this relationship taking major stake in TEAMS and SEACOM...watch this space... ./bernard On Wed, Sep 9, 2009 at 3:52 PM, aki <aki275@googlemail.com> wrote:
My opinion , Who they fooling? The main reason for POP and the agreed marriage is most likely linked to teleglobe. Tata are going to make a mistake on this one. AK, is nothing more than a regular ISP which depends on the likes of KDN to give clients connectivity. They have no national network, not even a regional one. ( corrections welcome ) And a question for Tata's miscalculation : If Service Providers like AK have sung the chorus on bandwidth, who excatly is the POP going to offer its services to?
