Consider implementing the following on an enterprise wide scale:

1. An Equipment Agreement.
   
2. AppTec360° Mobile Management. AppTec develops in-house & cloud based Mobility Management solutions for the challenges that face firms when managing applications, configuration & security of smart phones and tablets. (A free license for 25 devices.)
   
3. PacketFence. A fully supported, trusted, free & open source network access control (NAC) solution. (Do you want to efficiently handle guests on your network? Is your network a breeding ground for computer worms and viruses? Can anyone connect to your network without your knowledge? If so, PacketFence is for you.)

On the laptops themselves, think about configuring:

1. A boot up password. Put access to the laptop under lock & key (figuratively speaking).
2. A bios password. Lock up the laptop hardware & enhance security of the same.
