@Aki, my first job was in TATA motors (Indian company), They made their 
first car back in 1945 from photocopied plans of a Daimler-Benz track. 
In 2009-2010 financial year, they had revenues of USD 20 billion.<br><br>The moral of the story is, Everyone who contributed to this thread is somehow right.<br>

It now has the industrial and scientific ability to create from scratch all components such as jet engine parts, wing aerodynamics, special anti-radar detection paints, you name it. It has localised those abilities. While some are still stuck on the buyer/seller mentality and end up buying&quot;mitumbas&quot; and probably first generation jet fighters that are at best noise in the sky. </div>
