@jacob This is a very noble project...I wish you success in achieving the objectives you have mentioned. I am however wondering, how different is it from something like moodle? Timo. On 5/22/11, John Wesonga <johnwesonga@gmail.com> wrote:

Saili stands for testing or assessment and is intended to be used by Kenya Certificate of Primary Education Candidates during preparation of the examination
With *SAILI* you can create and administer computer-based Tests with multimedia questions and multiple choice answers. You can have the Questions presented randomly or sequentially from a question database of over 500, 000 questions.

For each question you can also define additional study information in the form of:
* A Text file, PDF file , RTF file with embedded graphics or a PowerPoint Presentation * A Graphic image or Graphic with Text or Graphic with Sound * a Music file or Voice File * a Movie - AVI or MPG or WMV * a Link to a Web Site * Explanatory Footnotes (encompassing all the above)
You can display the additional study information before the question is answered or after it is answered. Feedback on correct or incorrect answers is provided as you progress. Test results can be saved to disk or printed. Correct and incorrect answers are recorded and the results are saved. The questions and study information can be studied after it has ended, making this an ideal educational tool.
