Well it all depends on what you want with life you know. I mean, education and business never stop. If you need cash you do biz or get employed. If you want to enhance your CV or get higher ideas or need more skill, you get education. It all depends on where you are. Ive noticed something in everything people do. There is always an upper limit. In your business that is the highest revenue you can presently make. In everything, you need a big external force to surpass this limit. In business, it can be education or workshop or whatever. Just a quick question, why dont you start biz instead of going to class one? Its very simple, your capacity is very limited at that level. If a learned guy on the other hand has business sense, you know the kind of biz he can give. I give the example of google and Microsoft On 8/5/10, aki <aki275@googlemail.com> wrote:
If you are an ICT person, you know this very well. That such education does not come cheap. Even if you are downloading free Video Trainings, you will still pay for certification fee. You also incur costs over the time duration such as e-books, internet costs etc. And obviously there has to be a commitment to time and personal sacrifices.
Recently I had a discussion about this with some who is in business. It turns out that if you calculate your costs over time spent on such studies, you could have easily invested those amounts in stocks etc. The business person looks at it as time that they were turning into profitability. At the end of a 2 year cycle, your financial input has not risen compared to inflation versus the amounts spent on education while the business has turned a profit to compensate for such. Its a vast subject but have simplified it.
In a nutshell, will you throw away your skills or be compensated ? You make the professional choice.
