The report is based on mobile traffic during June to September in eight of the country's major districts. The report concluded that Airtel had the highest average number of blocked calls at 15.2 percent. They were followed by Uganda Telecom (11.4%), MTN (11.1%), Warid Telecom (8.75%) and Orange (3.75%). The minimum standard should be 2 percent for network congestion (blocked calls) or calls being dropped after connection. MTN is reported to drop 4.5 percent of calls, followed by Warid Telecom (4.2%), then Uganda Telecom (3.35%), Airtel (3.17%) and Orange is the best performer, with 2.8% of calls dropped. -- [Asentric Consulting Ltd] "The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in war." - Navy SEAL INSTRUCTOR
