all work and no play.........u know the rest. And btw, the G+ invites threads must be answered since people need and want invites.

Hi,
Is this forum a technical or a Social forum?
Have found it very interesting that many Technical questions asked pass without a single reply.
But a funny out-of-topic post gets so many replies.
Like the case with now with google........

Can we purpose to create a purely technical forum for Techies? You need not spend hours trying to sort a technical problem that someone else has done before.

Shadrack,

We strive to answer all technical questions posted on this forum, whenever we have a clue, but we are under no obligation to answer anyway. How do you expect us to answer if we don't know the solution? Even in school, one is allowed to "pass" a question when they have no clue.

As to whether it is a technical or social forum, your choice here ...... but for me, it's both, depending on the time and the mood. I reserve the rights to both "my time" and "my mood".

You say a "funny OT post gets so many replies". Isn't that what it's supposed to be?
