SHAREPOINT SATURDAY

http://spsnairobi.eventbrite.com/

This event is in the planning stages. Organizations having trouble finding SharePoint Developer skills locally will be interested in sponsoring this event.

Some good folk will be flying in.

SharePoint, is very big globally.

KICTB (ict.go.ke) tenders / bids (e.g. Lands, Judiciary, KNH) locked out SharePoint by requiring J2EE (Java Based) document management systems instead of specifying / asking for CMIS Compliant ones.

Anyway SharePoint is rarely if ever prioritized and well deployed in Oracle / Java shops.
