What;s the experience in these countries? E.g. In SA, how much does it cost to have my number "ported" to another network? And how are the services transparent, if at all?

Number portability is working in many countries - for example SA - and
all these are taken into account when CCK was doing the feasibility
studies - We are not doing one here to answer this questions.
