Only the no. is maintained. Otherwise you leave all the services you enjoy on the old network. If you are moving from Safaricom to Airtel, No m-pesa, okoa jahazi, no 3g. . just your convenient no. Am personally moving nowhere. . .
@washington: I think you have raised some very important points...
This has also made me wonder about M-pesa and so on...will I maintain
the same Safaricom SIM card or will I be issued with an Airtel SIM
card...
Oh my, I can foresee a lot of confusion on April 1st (which is also
conveniently April Fools day)
I personally think at the end of the day people will move to the
cheapest network, even it it is cheaper by 50cts.
And don't forget our "peculiar calling habits"
