Ouch! I feel for your pal Dennis. I've been trying to get ahold of a Thinkpad laptop but having little luck finding them locally so was actually exploring the importing option. Hope he gets sorted out otherwise the next option would be to import the replacement part, and this time take out insurance esp for the delicate items.
