@Shadrack you do not have to be patriotic to the bone. Fact! Kenya is full of incompetent people, more than you know. It may have competent citizens yes! but that's a small fraction. So what if other countries have incompetent people too, that is their problem. Systemic problem with Public services, tribalism, unwarranted accidents etc are symptoms of how our society really is, so lets all stop living in denial. So @TheMburu it is necessary to bash for action to be taken otherwise if we all bury our heads in the soil then things become complacent. Point in case: We all cant work for KPLC but we from the outside can push for those on the inside to give us better services. Now the sad thing is I was in the village a couple of weeks ago and I raised the issue of inconsistent power and truly i discovered people today actually believe it is not possible to have stable power and to them KPLC is doing a stellar job seeing they now have lights for 4 days a week as opposed to previously when they had no power at all. So for the time I was there, If I did not call KPLC when there was a blackout no one will and that blackout will persist for days rather than an hour or two. The difference is the call I made to Bash KPLC which resulted in speedy restoration of power. My consistent calling actually pushed them to come replace an entire faulty transformer. So I left the village and now they have more stable power with a brand new transformer....
