What I've experienced is with BBK who call you when you do a card transaction especially in Nigeria.

Must be the way BBK operate. I had a colleague who had to make calls to BBK each time he needed to use his card from any location outside the country. 

ION : StanChart have introduced 2FA mechanism for online card transactions. That's a good step.
