Great idea!! Such programmes/training are ideally meant to give direction and best practices concepts to highly skilled programmers stil groping in the dark with regard to commercialization, and thats what kenya needs. Maybe the guyz KICTB should be thinking of setting up 'silicon valley' in preparation for the graduates. Dr. Kukubo/Kags, u reading this (B-)? Cheerz n God bless y'all! Hi
eMobilis Mobile Technology Academy www.emobilis.org is now offering the MIT/Nokia Joint Entrepreuneurship program which is a program created by Nathan Eagle, an MIT professor in conjunction with Nokia. The program basically trains students on how to create mobile based applications, for commercial purposes (eg inventory management software systems for dispersed stores, running on J2ME platform, create games to sell on Apple Store or Nokia Ovi Store online, RSS over mobile etc). Its a brilliant program.
