The modules of the application that are accessible to the public have been tested and QOS consultant has been on board from the onset to ensure that the necessary simulations are done in house first. There has been a pilot group of taxpayers that has been used consisting of 20 of the largest corporate taxpayers in Kenya involved in both individual and corporate filing. Each of the selected corporates has staff base of 1500 and above with operation across the country.

 

Washington, if you already have a PIN it is follow the following instructions:

  1. visit the KRA website www.kra.go.ke
  2. Go to online service
  3. Click on tax payers registration
  4. Enter PIN at identification
  5. Click get password for existing tax payer (It shall require you to verify information received from registrar of persons; biodata)
  6. If individual information is inaccurate kindly contact 020- 4999999 the ITMS call center for assistance.

Out of curiousity, does KRA do any testing of their apps, e.g. like picking a select number of users.

It seems to me that this list would provide quite some feedback.

I have a PIN (for many years now) but would like to get a password to enable me to use KRA's online services.

Did you key in your mother's name, by any chance, since that is marked with (*) ?
