If you think your diploma is not worth anything, switch professions and try medicine or law, no?? then invest less of your time complaining and more of it specializing in a lucrative IT system or technology. The diploma is not the problem here(it never is in IT). Resilience and an undying thirst to learn and master a skillset that recurs on job listings is all you need. If you are keen enough, you'd notice that every once in a while a Java programmer vacancy pops up on this list, trust me, if you're good enough it won't matter whether or not you went to nursery school. The lack of jobs IN Kenya isn't a problem either, read or hear of Kenyans working in IT with Diplomas from Mogadishu to Bogotá.
