Being faster doesnt mean that am downloading more - it just means that the same amount of data is arriving faster than it used to.
Maybe the real issue is that now you can view more pages per minute than you used to!

Wait a min shouldn't that be the case now that the speed is faster so is the rate of Down/up load and since its capacity billing then there goes your answer.. its not time billing remember ...

for windows , just right click on your network icon to view the status of your connection. t gives you how much you have uploaded/downloaded.

The last time such a thing happened to me, I decided to do traffic accounting on the interface connecting me Safaricom and I did that both for downloads and uploads. That way you can get an overview of what goes on. Easy to do on Unix. Not sure about Windows.
