The NSE has actually been running on one of Millenium Exchange Solaris based systems since 2007. Same to the Mauritius SE. The JSE will just be following the two.
The LSE group bought Millenium Information Technology which builds the trading system and it was only a matter of time before the switch. The JSE had their system hosted in London by the LSE so the customers benefit too with a matching engine closer home and a better platform. The risk is much less.
cheers.
Seriously Singh, we know better than to entrust the NSE with a
Windows-based trading system, its just a matter of time.
