The process quiet long, I think. You need to get a certificate of good conduct from the CID, then NSIS vets you, before sending you over to the Central Firearms Bureau for the firearm. I think a medical practioner must give an opinion, too. I am unsure whether your local chief should say he knows you as a law abiding citizen!
