this may sound like egress towards the super natural but i find the .10's more stable than the .04s. Which is why all my servers are either on 8.10, 9.10 or 10.10 and why im probably not in a hurry to upgrade anything till December....

I had exactly the same issue a while back while running Karmic Koala on a HP Pavilion dv6 machine but it disappeared after I upgraded to Lucid Lynx.
