The culture of "i give you the cash you give me the goods there and then" is still quite strong, albeit to me it still is. Come to think of it,  would willingly pay the cost of visa/airfare to London just so that I can go buy my Alienware m17x myself, as opposed to buying online and waiting for a few weeks for it to be shipped over, holding my breath. Probably I am just conservative. Or old fashioned. Or both.
