Folks, It's always been very difficult, if not impossible, to convince someone how much 'down' one has been if their flat rate Internet has NOT been connecting... But some good news... Linux users can review *all* their failed Internet connection attempts, and all other computer activities log. Serves as quite some incriminating evidence - both ways (e.g. if been visiting ...movie sites...) because every IP address visited is logged as well... and since e-evidence is now legal courtesy of KCA, 2008. If you run Ubuntu( Linux) Operating System, have a have a look at your current /var/log/messages file. Once the file gets large it's archived and a new small one created. An e-record of all failed Internet connections/downtime register now exists. Poor Internet Services Providers chungeni. Sasa ni kubaya sana! Alex
