Sadly, it is meant to be more important to deliver on time. But trust me on this one, the minute you provide a laptop with modem for internet and post paid line to a developer or any other field that can be done this way, even pay them on time via MPesa and ask him or her to deliver on time, 95% of the time they wont, so yep, we are back to sit down here 8 to 5 and work, since it seems you cannot work without being supervised. We have tried it time and time again, even gave the freedom to schedule meetings at their own convenience with client but nothing.
