The issue seems to be the firmware support, as I have previously tried connecting a 500GB Transcend to an LG home theater but it was not being recognized. I haven&#39;t &#39;broken into&#39; any Transcend yet so i&#39;m not sure what make of HDD is inside. I use the same portable drive on <a href="http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN40C5000QFXZA">this</a> bila shida...it reads the entire 500gig NTFS partition without a problem. Haven&#39;t tried with a bigger hard disk though.
