I would think the risk is minimal since you can easily confirm with the airline once ticket is bought. On Aug 9, 2013 2:21 PM, "Solomon Mbũrũ Kamau" <solo.mburu@gmail.com> wrote:
I've never used expedia.com for traveling. Methinks, you better get reviews of users then make a decision based on that. However, remember, cheap is expensive.

Hi Friends,
This is totally totally OFF TOPIC...but I believe this is one of the few places I can get credible assistance. I guess a good number of the people on this list are frequent fliers and this is why I need this expedia.com 101 lesson.
Well, I want to travel soon and I want to buy a ticket via expedia.com since it seems cheaper than buying directly from the airlines. Here are my queries:
1. Is there anyone on the list who has ever bought a ticket from expedia.com and successfully gotten out of the country without any hitches? 2. When one buys this e-ticket, does one need to print it out and go with it to the airport? 3. When one gets to the departures place, what will they ask from me... 4. Can I confirm with the airline as to whether I have actually been booked by expedia.com to fly on the actual date selected?
This is the first time in my life that I will be up there above the clouds, so please be gentle...
Best Regards,
Timo.
ps. When I return I will bring you gifts... _______________________________________________ skunkworks mailing list skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke ------------ List info, subscribe/unsubscribe http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------
