Am on assignment to develop a customised helpdesk mini-system(hosted on a localserver)....Brief description of how its supposed/expected 2 operate:
-----Should be an interactive system aimed to assist non IT-staff in solving petty IT issues in an office enviroment(to avoid those loooong calls and movement of IT support staff)
-----Should have its own database...preferably mysql
-----Available to all intranet users....but requests posted should only be answered by IT staff(login to answer to a request)
-----Should be as "simple" as possible :-(
-----prefered languange php/mysql(suggestions welcome)
The issue....need an excellent design
....playing around with php---the "chat" bit is a challenge!
