Hi all,<br>Am on assignment to develop a customised helpdesk mini-system(hosted on a localserver)....Brief description of how its supposed/expected 2 operate:<br> -----Should be an interactive  system aimed to assist non IT-staff in solving petty IT issues in an office enviroment(to avoid those loooong calls and movement of IT support staff)<br>
-----Should have its own database...preferably mysql<br>-----Available to all intranet users....but requests posted should only be answered by IT staff(login to answer to a request)<br>-----Should be as &quot;simple&quot; as possible :-(<br>
-----prefered languange php/mysql(suggestions welcome)<br><br>The issue....need an excellent design<br>              ....playing around with php---the &quot;chat&quot; bit is a challenge!<br><br>Kindly assist.<br clear="all">
