Generally, when it comes to installation issues, you could have missed important requirements and procedures during the installation process.
Go through the installation manual, make sure your system meets requirements and that you've followed the installation process. If you're sure that is covered, google the issue!

Hi guys,
I recently downloaded the iso for Ubuntu 9.04 and installed on my comp at home. However, the OS won't start up, all I get is a blank screen after a few minutes of "failed" boot and the comp freezes. Any idea on what could be causing it or why it is happening?
