I had an iPhone and at one time wondered why the heck I should buy an iPad.

When I bought the iPad; I discovered many uses that I cannot do on the iPhone or the Laptop as well and as enjoyable;

Top uses:

1) reading - I had lost the art of reading; also lost the art of carrying bible. Nowadays any book volume is just a touch away while you are on  bed or while you watchin telly 

2) email reading on the go - 

   get a cheap bundle from any of the ntwks eg Orange/Airtel and access to emails in a quick way has never been easier and eye pleasing.

  

3) very good and quick references during meetings/presentations - eg you can refer to your emails or Office documents quickly

4) good for techies in the field - eg you can put your schematics in the iPad and carry it around the installation sites for references

   good for doctors and lawyers too - just get the right app

5) and may other uses depending on the app

6) with the introduction of Siri; you get a girlfriend who arranges your schedule... she doesnt nag you, she doesnt judge you ...

7) now you can shoot those Angry Birds and feel the texture of the feathers on a 10 freakin Inch screen !!!

    (and people looking at you will think you are doing some very serious work while you wait at that Bank queue)
