FROM THOMAS: SUBJECT -  BE WARNED

Hi David,

We agreed i told you what i needed and how and when i was going to pay you. You were suppose to do the logo and get paid when the person who needed it got the money to me.

Just as a reminder if you have forgotten, you did not do anything for me so you should better stop abusing my name. Whatever you did was locked and unusable and you said it yourself that you will make it accessible to us once you are paid. The client did not pay me and neither did we ask you to open it or used it.

So next time you abuse me again you can be rest assured our lawyers will have to meet in court. Take note that i have been keeping all your unfounded statements.

MY REPLY TO THOMAS:

First, I want to respond here because i do not feel threatened by your words, you can not even keep your own word to yourself. We did not agree on such a thing as you pay me when you are paid. This is creative work, its not some good you can return, design is not about the work being put on a page, its about creating, that is what you were paying me for. I did not lock the file, i do not even know how that is done if you can lock images, what i did was a watermark. My concept was the key thing and it was all there. Knowing how you do your things you probably just reworked it on photoshop using my idea and went underground. We had agreed you are paying when i finish, you pushed to monday, tuesday, wednesday...etc, all of a sudden you are in mombasa, narok, everywhere.

I do not know your client, and the only reason you were making a margin out of it is because you were an agent between us, you should have made your work easy by keeping the right measures. I did work, i need to be paid for it, send whoever you want to send to me, i have no made any false claims. You owe me, you go underground, you block all channels of communication, that to me sounds like you STOLE from me.

Have some respect for this list and just come out clean.

There are points when money doesnt define anything Thomas. If you wanted work for free, I have done so many things without expecting payment, we would have discussed that. That would have given you a chance to keep your name. I remember once someone here asked for free hosting and I offered. They were not ready with the site and recently when they were ready, they didnt even take my free offer, they paid for it.

I am willing to let go the cash if you can even just come to this forum and apologize for the abuse. I know am in no place to speak for the list but am a beneficiary of this great resource and i want to see it grow with people not taking advantage of each other and the trust that comes with skunkworks.

I have had disputes with people on this list other than you, its normal, just how you choose to resolve it makes a difference.
