I understand the 'being part of the US network' part and being able to access their content based on the VPN. However, I still dont get how that will improve speeds. 

If the connectivity from local provider is poor, shouldn't the vpn speeds be affected as well?

Anyway, to answer your question on VPN, my colleague uses one provider in the US which then makes his MacBook Pro (I had to mention this to get at you!) be part of their US network. I believe that is what you need. He tells me there are many such providers. For the one he uses, he says he pays a subscription fee of USD 100 per year. I haven't gone into the (in)efficiencies of the service, but I know he uses it to watch video streams (US TV ) and download movies so it must be very good. If you feel I must push him to give me the details of this particular one he uses, let me know.

The work we're doing within our groups requires some content that's blocked on youtube by region. At first, I was using the VPN created by wi-free for this. Later on, I came across the Orange hack and started using it as in MSA. well this was for two months.

Mombasa's my primary concern. Despite the fiber landing there, I keep getting told there's no infrastructure to handle it.

If I'm paying for a service, I believe it's my choice whether I use it as you're providing it or use a different route in accessing my choice of receivables. To make it clear, Please let me know if this is possible. If not, please explain why.

Here's my question. If i'm paying for Zuku, I'd like to be able to log on to the Zuku network and then use wi-free for example to get on to their servers and access their t1 or t3 connections via Zuku. Does this increase my bandwidth usage via UDP connectivity for you? and Is it costing you extra?

My locations are 6th Parklands ( Zuku ) , Karen Marula Lane ( Orange & Safaricom )and Moi Ave. MSA. ( orange )

Wi-free works off different protocols on networks creating a VPN with the Wi-Free servers allowing a user to

1. Get Inaccessible content for different regions ( in my case, this is one of it's uses )
2. have The possibility of better throughput using these servers, VPN and protocols. .
