Problem is you might never get to the interview stage...My thinking is just to be able to demonstrate what you have/can do. Papers are just to get you past the shortlisting stage. You have raised another issue in that Kenya Interview panels do not know how to interview or the results are already predetermined. That is why you get some of this funny interview questions / criteria.
GOK has established a qualifications framework that we are all supposed to follow. If CHE has approved a degree it matches all the other approved degrees no matter what an interview panelist thinks.

Jay, In Kenya employers don't take them seriously. Have you been in an interview & when you say you have a masters from UON for example interviewers probe you further to see if you know the names of lecturers? This is common especially for masters & PHDs.
That's how serious Kenyans are with where you got your papers from. My thoughts.
