For those of you unlucky folks like me, who cannot download the Android Google Plus app in the country where you live, you can download the APK file from there!! :-) You don't even need root access to do this. Just make sure you have "Unknown Sources" allowed in Settings/Applications.. I think this could be another hack to get membership
