Hey,<br>I usually unse UMTSMON and I can use any modem anywhere with PIN requirements. Plus it gives you a very nice interface with signal strenth indication.<br>never had problems using any modem on linux.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

<div>You will need the interface that comes with the modem to disable the pin, so you need Windows.</div><div>In ubuntu 10.04, you only need to install the usb-modeswitch and the Network Manager will sort you out with the rest (Broadband Modem). </div>
